Use sourcing to deliver service improvements In both the public and private sector, a common objective is to improve service to internal and external customers. One PA assignment saw the UK Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) improving the quality of its front-line services to internal customers in four areas: information and communications technology, transport, pay and pensions, and administration and property services. When outsourcing contracts in all four areas were about to expire, PA helped MPS re-engineer them to improve reliability, accountability and innovation.
