PA goes beyond its statutory requirements by ensuring that all employees, not just parents of children of a certain age, can request a flexible working arrangement. This right applies to all employees regardless of their length of service or gender. While many arrangements are permanent, some employees wish to introduce increased flexibility for a limited period.
For example, a number of our staff (male and female) have found it helpful to work part-time for periods of their career.
Recognising personal need for time off and leisure
PA recognises that you may need time off from work for a variety of reasons, some planned and others perhaps unforeseen. In addition to annual holiday entitlements and compassionate leave there is the option to buy up to seven additional days' annual leave each year.
Supporting career breaks
At PA, we recognise that longer breaks are sometimes required to fulfil your dreams, providing the opportunity for either additional study or travel. We support this through the option to request a sabbatical for up to six months once you have completed three years with PA, or a one year study break available after two years with PA.
