Identifying and meeting future defence challenges - DSEI 2007 - 03 September 2007

At DSEi 2007, General Sir Mike Jackson, Senior Advisor at PA Consulting Group and former Chief of the General Staff, and Nick Chaffey, PA's Global Head of Defence Consulting, will be looking at the challenges that are now facing defence, as well as what needs to be done in order to transform performance.

Together they will look at topics including:

  • Future defence challenges
  • Rising to meet those challenges
  • Delivering the right capability
  • Reducing delivery timescales and costs - substantially
  • Maximising capability at the front line
  • Defining, maintaining and sourcing the right skills and expertise.

The presentations, which start at 10.00am on Wednesday 12 September 2007 as part of the DSEi Global Defence Conference at the ExCel Centre, London, will draw on the experience of both General Sir Mike Jackson and PA Consulting Group.

PA has been working with the defence community for over 60 years and has a proven track record of delivering successful projects in both government and industry. PA’s capabilities span many of the key challenges in defence, from improving acquisition performance to delivering complex equipment and capability programmes, from driving the NEC agenda to transforming business performance and delivering organisational change.
