ProcServe, a leading provider of procurement and marketplace connectivity solutions, today announced that its award winning eProcurement marketplace service will now incorporate data from Dun & Bradstreet’s (D&B) Internet solution, Supplier Portfolio Management (SPM) in its Management Information System.
As part of the ProcServe eProcurement platform a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) is available to users. Users can perform trend, comparative and time-based analysis while still accessing traditional reports where necessary, either at a summary level or by drilling down through the hierarchy to examine subsequent levels of details.
By leveraging D&B’s global business information and unique corporate linkage capability in conjunction with ProcServe’s service, companies can better understand their spend portfolio and optimise their supplier relationships to deliver greater cost savings.
Combining ProcServe data and D&B information, the MIS includes the ability to consolidate spend and transaction details across related companies by grouping the spend under the global holding entity. Using SPM data provides users with the ability to view aggregated spend, monitor risk, and view supplier linkages. Allowing buying organisations to see how their supplier corporate family trees affect their overall of risk aggregation will help increase compliance to procurement regulations.
Said Peter Livesley, Government Sector Leader, D&B:
"We are delighted to be delivering a fully integrated solution with ProcServe, combining best of breed data content with a robust online marketplace. This provides users with transparency of supplier risk by enabling a view of all corporate linkages, financial stability, aggregated spend and a holistic view of the supply base.”
ProcServe’s CEO, Veera Johnson added:
“This partnership with D&B reinforces our position as a leader in the eProcurement and electronic trading space. We are thrilled to be working with an organisation of this calibre and look forward to offering our customers this unique solution.”
