Merging to bring $500 million savings in IT costs

In January 1999 BP and Amoco merged in the largest corporate deal to date, forming the world’s third largest energy organization. PA helped successfully implement a programme of IT integration activity expected to deliver approximately $250 million savings per annum. PA worked to interconnect and integrate the basic IT Infrastructures followed by standardization and rationalization activity to ensure a common operating environment.
