Implementing on-line multi-market trading

Banca IMI is one of Italy’s largest and fastest growing banks. During 1999, it decided to launch an on-line financial services operation starting with an Internet-based retail share trading system - IMIWEB Trader. PA worked to ensure the success of this assignment by managing and co-ordinating the fifteen suppliers involved and providing independent testing services. PA’s role was to ensure that a high-level of quality was maintained, and that the project adhered to the very rapid delivery timetable.

The bank leapt ahead of its competition by delivering to market, within aggressive timescales, a wide and innovative range of services. These services included: a WAP mobile phone share trading system, Internet subscription service to Initial Public Offerings, and on-line access to domestic and foreign equity markets.
