Sonoco is a $2.8bn manufacturer and supplier of industrial and consumer packaging products and services. As part of the ongoing consolidation of the UK market, Sonoco acquired a direct competitor that owned three sites. The rationalization will deliver annual synergy benefits to a 6% reduction of total costs, and achieve a remarkably high customer retention of over 95%.
