All go for public transport

Copense, Denmark, 2015
Last week’s announcement from glyde transport information provider is a major turning point for public transport. The glyde system has helped provide a stress-free commute for thousands in Copense, but now it is expanding nationwide. We asked local resident Natasja to give us an account of her typical morning journey with glyde.
Natasja’s journey
It's 8am and glyde is beeping loudly. I want to finish my breakfast, but take a quick look. “Your bus is expected in four minutes, best get a move on,” it tells me. Urgh, out of time again. I pull my jacket on and rush out of the door. My journey to work is only 23 kilometers but it used to take over an hour each way by car – more when it rained. Now, it’s down to less than 40 minutes, reliably, and I’ve got time to read the paper and grab a coffee on the way.
