- We developed a European market entry strategy for mobile and wireless access services based on WiMAX 802.16e for a major operator.
- We provided specification, vendor selection and implementation planning support for a WiMAX network roll-out for a new entrant in the EMEA region.
- We designed one of the world’s first commercial WiMAX networks in the Middle East.
- We built a full working WiMAX base station for trials with a major operator
- We evaluated the performance of the 802.16 fixed and mobile compared with 3G.
- For Ofcom (the UK telecoms regulator) we simulated the link level characteristics of WiMAX transmission and extrapolated the impact of ultra-wideband (UWB) interference on a network deployment.
